The Courtyard University Medical Center is a business traveler's home away from home. This location is perfect for travelers needing to attend to any business at the University of Virginia or the UVA Medical Center. Recently built, it has spanking new amenities and services that appeal to the business and pleasure traveler. Located nine miles from the Charlottesville Airport, it is also close to such businesses as Sprint, State Farm, and Lexis Law Publishers. There is a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with an indoor pool, sauna, and solarium, as well as a nearby spa. Two miles away lies Birdwood Golf Course and a little further a field are the Penn Park and Wintergreen-Stoney Creek Golf Courses.

The property contains three meeting rooms with a total of 1,500 square feet and an executive floor with added amenities for the business traveler. Other services that guests will enjoy are express check-in and out, safety deposit boxes at the front desk, laundry valet, or self-service laundry. There is also a full-service, on-site business center with secretarial services available including faxing, photocopying, and mailing.
